So long, London.
Taylor Swift bid adieu to London *ahem, Joe and Matty, ahem* in her recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, and it looks like she’s not looking back. The singer and her NFL-playing boyfriend, Travis Kelce, were just spotted in Italy on a romantic getaway, at none other than one of the country’s most iconic hotels.

Grand Hotel Tremezzo, is an opulent five-star hotel that sits on the edge of Lake Como. Dating back to 1910, the 90-room Art Nouveau-style hotel certainly lives up to its name boasting 20,000 sqm of park and gardens that offer panoramic views of the famous lake.

If you don’t recognise the hotel by name, you surely will by sight. One of Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s three pools literally floats on the waters of Lake Como. Images and videos of the one-of-a-kind pool flood social media feeds when you search ‘Grand Hotel Tremezzo.’

According to PageSix Taylor and Travis opted for Villa Sola Cabiati, a private villa that includes six separate suites and sleeps up to 12, for their three night stay. The perfectly preserved Neoclassical villa (it’s giving TTPD aesthetic) fetches nearly $21,000 per night. So what does an eye-watering $21,000 a night get you? Butler, housekeepers, chambermaid private chef, your own private pool and gardens and jetty.

Taylor and Travis took full advantage of their stay in Villa Sola Cabiati, opting for a private dinner for two in the garden which was lit by lanterns and a menu curated to their tastes. Personally, I would’ve opted for Gualtiero Marchesi’s signature dish Riso, oro e zafferano (Rice, gold and saffron). But that’s just me. Marchesi is the Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s Executive Chef and the first chef to gain three Michelin stars and it is only here that you can taste his creations. Bellissimo!
