If you're a fan of mythical creatures, you might want to check this out.
When planning a trip to Italy’s fashion centre, you might imagine your accommodation to be befittingly chic – perhaps a reflection of old-world Italian style or minimalist sophistication. And yet, this new accommodation option has us scratching our heads.
The Unicorn House has opened its pastel-hued doors in the centre of Milan, and is available during the city’s Design Week. This magical set-up accommodates two guests, and is entirely themed around, you guessed it, unicorns. It’s listing, on Booking.com, describes the space being ‘adorned with an array of enchanting decorations such as magic horns, stars, fluffy clouds and dazzling rainbows.’

Once checked in, guests receive a welcome pack filled with consistently unicorn-themed gifts and can then take part in a cupcake and biscuit-decorating class –taught by famed cake designer Eleonora di Simine – where they’ll make their own unicorn-shaped treats.

The theming expands beyond the ceiling-to-floor embellishments too. Not only will guests sleep in a themed room in unicorn-swathed bedding, but their pajamas, slippers and even breakfasts are also, well, you get where this is going.

Unicorn House is available for a limited time only, so if you know someone who’ll appreciate this aesthetic, direct them to Booking.com.
