Ditch the coat and run to paradise.
Melbourne dwellers seeking warm reprieve from the southern city’s chill and a generous dose of vitamin C are in luck.
Today, Air Vanuatu announced the launch of three non-stop flights from Melbourne to Port Vila, Vanuatu, each week. Meaning, if you’re ready to up-end your desk and hop on a flight destined for aquamarine waters and seaside villas, you’re now a short, direct four-hour flight away.

Before long, you’ll be able to rid the coat and scarf and explore unchartered wilderness, pristine beaches and rugged landscapes.
The flights will leave at 7.00am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in time for lunch in Vanuatu. The return flight departs at 4.15pm (local time) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Melbourne in time for dinner. (Let’s be honest, if you’ve come to this page we know you plan your trips around meals).
