Table for two, please!

Come October, Veuve Clicquot will open the doors to the world’s only Hotel Clicquot set on the stunning beachfront at Sunshine Beach, Queensland. Here, guests will be treated to a three-night stay filled with Clicquot-inspired experiences (which you can read more about here) and dining.

In true Clicquot fashion, it has called on Australia’s finest chefs to curate an array of culinary experiences that will exclusively be available at Hotel Clicquot. Peter Gilmore of Quay and Bennelong fame, legendary Martin Benn (ex Sepia, Society) and Chris Hemsworth’s private chef, Sergio Perera, will be lending their expertise to signature dining events.

The Garden Gastronomy dinner is a true highlight for food and bubble lovers. Developed by Veuve Clicquot to showcase the prestige cuvee of the House, La Grande Dame, the menu marries vegetables with Grand Cru grapes, highlighting hers, fruits and vegetables and using meat, fish and eggs as condiments.

Peter Gilmore will be hosting the dinner from October 19-28. He says, “I have always looked to nature and the seasons as a source of inspiration in my cooking; a chef should always be in touch with the ingredients and respect them. I’m a passionate gardener as well as chef, so Garden Gastronomy speaks my language. I’m looking forward to sharing my interpretation of this vegetable-first philosophy with guests, married with La Grande Dame champagnes.”

From October 11-19, Martin Benn will step up to the plate and take guests on an unexpected journey where vegetables are the heroes and champagne shapes the meal. Think of a garden-inspired menu that showcases dishes like Beetroot, rhubarb, goats yoghurt and rye as well as peas, Spanner Crab, Jamon Iberico and dashi butter.

Sergio Perera, who is an alumnus of some of the world’s best restaurants from Azark to Mugaritz, will be hosting the Sustainable Dinner. Diners who sit at Perera’s table will be treated to a meal that focuses on sustainability and champagne.

So whether you’re indulging in a private dinner, picnic on the beach or a champagne sunset poolside, you can be sure you’re going to be treated to a delicious dish thanks to Australia’s leading chefs. Can it be October already?
