Virgin Australia has dropped over half a million sale fares to domestic destinations, with prices starting at just $85.

That’s right travel fiends, now is the time to snag a massive discount on domestic fares, because the airline is celebrating the reopening of Queensland borders to interstate travellers with a massive airfare sale.

More than 500,000 fares are available online for selected travel dates and destinations between August 5th 2020 and March 31st 2021.

Some of the highlights include economy class fares from Sydney to the Gold Coast from $85, Brisbane to Newcastle or The Whitsundays from $89 and Adelaide to the Gold Coast from $129.

Even Perth fares are heavily discounted, with Perth to Brisbane fares starting at $199.

Even better? The sale fares include a hefty 23kg baggage allowance for economy class bookings. The airline is also waiving change fees for bookings with travel between now and September 30th 2020. Sweet.
