A new era of international travel is ready for take off.
It’s good to see competitive international fares come back to Australia with the introduction of new airlines, like Turkish Airlines, flying into Sydney and Melbourne. Now, Virgin Australia has partnered with Qatar Airways to deliver more value and choice to Aussies when booking international flights, especially to Europe.
The new partnership will provide Aussies the opportunity to travel to more than 100 destinations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Starting today, Aussies can book Virgin Australia’s new services to jet directly from Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth to Doha for travel from June 2025, with Melbourne set to join the party later that year. These flights will be operated by Virgin Australia using Qatar Airways’ spacious Boeing 777s, renowned for their Qsuite Business Class (you can read all about it here).
Qatar Airways has been voted the best airline in the world eight times including this year, setting the benchmark for the world’s best travel experience. To celebrate the partnership, Virgin Australia has dropped a massive sale on flights to Europe.
