Virgin Australia has announced the return of its Pride Flight services to Sydney, just in time for Mardi Gras. And they promise to be anything but a drag.
The first Pride Flight operated from Brisbane to Sydney in 2021. This year, the airline will operate two, departing from Melbourne and Brisbane on Friday March 4, destined for – where else? – Australia’s biggest annual gay and lesbian celebration in Sydney.

They promise to be two of the most fabulous celebrations that have ever taken to the skies, with the flights hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under alums, Maxi Shield and Coco Jumbo.

On top of that, there’s a pre-flight departure party, mid-air drag performances, bottomless bevvies, DJs and celebrity appearances. Basically? This is your non-stop service to fabulousness.

$30 from the sale of each ticket will be donated to Minus18, an Australian charity improving the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth.
Tickets are all-inclusive, expected to sell out fast and on-sale now. One-way economy tickets are priced from $150 and Business Class from $399.
