At this Brisbane hotel, you can do both in one sitting.
Why choose cheese over chocolate or the reverse, when you can have both? Right now, W Brisbane is launching its all-new menu at Living Room Bar – featuring retro favourites and contemporary bites – proving bar snacks needn’t be dull.
In the cheesy fondue is locally produced Woombye wash rind cheese and a decadent triple cream brie. To accompany, a platter of apricots, strawberries, dates, figs, honeycomb, charcoal breadsticks, lavosh, freshly baked bread and dehydrated banana is ready to dip.

For sweet lovers, the Valrhona Chocolate Fondue is made using the finest in French chocolate. To dip? Marshmallows, strawberries, mini waffles, honeycomb, raspberry muffins, pancakes and croissant pieces are on the table.

Alongside the new menu will be a Champagne bottle service – so diners can pop a bottle while they devour fondue. There’ll also be a DJ in-house to complete the bygone vibes.

And, if you do not fondue, there are a wide range of other delicious snacks on hand, including: truffle fries, a soft lobster sandwich, charcoal sliders made with Kobe beef and 24-month aged cheddar cheese.

Groups can gather to enjoy a Champagne table bottle service, or a tasting flight of three Champagne styles. The Champagne service is available at the Living Room Bar, W Brisbane – Level One (81 North Quay, Brisbane) – on Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 4.00pm.
