Love summertime blooms but don’t fancy sleeping outdoors? Sydney’s West Hotel is providing a picture-perfect (honestly, who could resist Instagramming this room?) space to wake among the roses.

For a limited time, the hotel’s Sleep Amongst Botanics experience is popping-up for a ‘sensory getaway’. Australian textile and homewares design team Bonnie and Neil are behind the flourishing decor inside the Curio Collection by Hilton room. The result is a whimsical, uplifting stay filled with vibrantly coloured hand-crafted items from the duo – think furnishings, artworks, cushions and throws.

And, while resting their heads, guests can look up to see a grand floral arbour suspended from the ceiling – by The Hunted Garden.

It’s not all about the decor, either. Included in the room package is botanical skincare products from Sydney-based Biology and a diffuser filling the room with light, fresh natural scents from Air Aroma.

Downstairs, the hotel’s Solander Dining and Bar has unveiled it’s ‘Summer of Gin’ bar menu, which includes summer gin cocktails from Archie Rose (including native botanicals), and a selection of tempting gin-infused bar snacks. And, in the restaurant area, a dinner menu with a focus on native ingredients awaits. There’s even a purely plant-based menu for vegan and vegetarian visitors.

From December 2018 to mid-January 2019, from $332 per night, guests can enjoy accommodation for two  in the Banksia Deluxe botanical-themed room, a full breakfast at Solandar Dining for two, two ‘Summer of Gin’ Archie Rose cocktails, accompanied by two bar snack menu items, and a Biology Skin 2-Step ‘In the Buff’ gift pack. Plus, of course, there’s the quality Instagram content thrown in for free.
