The new dining destination towering over the Thai capital

Waldorf Astoria

Waldorf Astoria opens its doors to food-loving travellers with discerning tastes.

Waldorf Astoria’s Bangkok hotel has officially opened its doors, bringing a range of enticing new dining options in tow. Three restaurants, a lounge and two bars will give guests a hard time choosing where to enjoy their next meal.

In the aptly named Front Room, the hotel’s signature restaurant, acclaimed Chef Fae Rungthiwa Chummongkhon will share her Michelin-starred restaurant experience. A blend of Nordic and Thai cuisines will make for a unique dining experience in this relaxed setting.

In the upper lobby, The Brasserie is a more lively option that overlooks the sparkling cityscape below. Locally sourced ingredients are used to make traditional French brasserie fare, at breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the same level, Peacock Alley is a lounge designed for guests to enjoy afternoon teas and light meals.  While, high on level 55, Bull & Bear serves up grilled meats and seafood from a custom-made grill in an art deco-inspired room.

If a drink with a view takes your fancy, there’s a choice of two locales. New York-style bar The Loft on level 56 takes inspiration from the original 1935 Waldorf Astoria Bar Book in its creative beverages and offers delicious bar foods. And, The Champagne Bar on the hotel’s top floor is a chic setting, where Champagne, cocktails and excellent views of Bangkok are the order of the day.
