When you wish upon a (Michelin) star…
There’s no shortage of stars at Walt Disney World. Just head to one of the theme parks’ meet-and-greet dining experiences and you’ll get up close and personal with Disney’s biggest stars – think Elsa, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Belle and more.

But there’s one coveted star that a theme park has never before been able to get its hands on and that’s a Michelin star, until now. Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, made history last week when Victoria & Albert at Grand Floridian Resort restaurant, was the first-ever theme park to be awarded a Michelin star.
Located just minutes outside the gates of Magic Kingdom, this fine-dining establishment takes food seriously. You won’t find any Mickey-shaped waffles here. There are two multi-course pre-fixe menus serving up upscale modern American cuisine that you can choose from, starting at $295USD per guest. The optional win list starts at $155USD per guest.

Victoria & Albert also have a strict policy when it comes to kids and dress code. Diners must be over the age 10 and must adhere to a semi-formal/formal dress code – but, please leave your replica Disney Princess gown at home, this is not the place for dress ups.
Even with the strict dress code and astronomical dining prices, nabbing a reservation here is no easy feat and if you’re unable to make it a $100USD-per-person fee is applied for cancellations within five days of the reservation.
