Thursday 8 November will see Brisbane CBD gain a plush new hotel with a selection of sophisticated food and drink locales on site.
This year has been a big one for hotel openings in Brisbane – welcoming in such new stays as the The Calile, a new Emporium, the W Hotel, an Art Series Hotel at Howard Smith Wharves and Ovolo the Valley. Now, it’s getting a shiny new Westin that’s set to bring a new range of eateries and bars to the River City’s CBD.

The new $200 million hotel will have a focus on spa and fitness offerings – but, it’s the food and beverage potential that has locals excited. Part of the city’s ‘Mary Lane’ precinct, the hotel will offer three new dining spaces. In keeping with the balmy Queensland climate, one of the dining spaces will be an outdoor poolside area – alongside the city’s first swim-up bar.
Among the new venues is Eden’s Table, a 150-seat restaurant where guests can watch their meals come to life at live-action cooking stations. Here, fine wines and locally sourced ingredients take to the stage.
The Charles’ will present visitors with an aviation-themed bar where jazz, cocktails, wine and laid-back vibes are key. Brisbane’s first swim-up bar, The Nautilus, boasts panoramic city views over the city to pair with your cocktail, juice or smoothie.
