To celebrate the brand’s 60th birthday, Barbie has opened her home to holidaymakers for a limited time only (at an affordable US$60 a night!) through Airbnb.

To celebrate the special occasion, Airbnb will make a donation to The Barbie Dream Gap Project initiative – a project aimed at helping ‘level the playing field for young women so they can follow their dreams’.

One guest and up to three friends will take up residence at the Malibu mansion for a two-night stay. The one-time reservation will take place from Sunday, October 27 to Tuesday, October 29.

During the one-time stay, Barbie’s house guests can expect a few besties to pop in. Ibtihaj Muhammad, world-class fencing champion will give guests one-on-one fencing lessons, while pilot and aerospace engineer Jill Meyers will take them on a behind-the-scenes tour of Columbia Memorial Space Center to encourage them to aim for the stars. Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin will stop by for hair makeovers, and renowned local chef Gina Clarke-Helm will provide a cooking lesson in Barbie’s spacious kitchen.
