First look: The McLaren Vale designer cabins proving sustainability and luxury aren't mutually exclusive
While international travel is off the cards for now, there’s never been a better time to explore our own backyard. From secret beaches and sand dunes to wineries and the wilderness, Australia is full of surprises… and equally surprising ways to enjoy them.
The cabins
The cabins are the very first of their kind and balance sophistication and luxury with environmental sustainability. Alongside interior comforts, CABN’s focus is to provide a space where guests can benefit from the physical and mental benefits of nature, and feel removed from the chaos of everyday life.
The interiors
The architecturally designed cabins will feature a king-sized bed, bathroom with bath and sauna, lounge space with a log fire and hand-picked furnishings, a high-end Weber kitchen and sunken bath on the deck. Add a cheeseboard and glass of vino and the picture is complete. Floor to ceiling glass walls provide a first-class view of the historic gumtrees and Gemtree Wines vineyard where the cabins are based – a conscious choice, due to the shared commitment to sustainability and improving the land for future generations.
The sustainability
To ensure all that opulence is totally guilt-free, CABN dedicates a portion of revenue from each stay to their own conservation program, funding vegetative regeneration across Australia.
The details
