Chocolate lovers – cancel all your plans immediately.
American Express delicious. Month Out (AEDMO) is returning this May for the sixth consecutive year, encouraging Australians to get out, dine out and support our world-class hospitality industry.
The month-long campaign will be activating across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and – for the first time – Canberra, offering eager food lovers the chance to redeem cash back at some of the country’s best restaurants, cafes and bars when they dine out in May.
But this year, there’s something extra tantalising on offer, and for those who love the sweet things in life, it’s an event worth clearing the diary for.

Headlining AEDMO this year will be none other than world-renowned French-Swiss chocolatier and pastry chef, Amaury Guichon, AKA ‘The Chocolate Guy’. Amex is bringing out Guichon, who is famed for his life-sized chocolate sculptures, to Sydney exclusively for AEDMO. For the first time, the public will be able to purchase his incredible chocolate creations.
From Thursday, May 8 to Saturday, May 10, Guichon will be taking over 20 Martin Place, Sydney, with Amex Presents Chocolate by Amaury Guichon.
A special Amaury Guichon pop-up store will provide guests with the chance to get their hands on one of the chocolatier’s masterpieces for just $15, with the first 100 American Express Card Members through the doors between 10 and 11am each day receiving their Amaury Guichon chocolate creation for free.
