The crepes, as delicate as parchment paper, will be made to order as part of the Garçon Bleu bottomless French brunch, held on Saturdays, including during May as part of American Express delicious. Month Out.
Executive chef Alex Katsman worked very closely with Garçon Bleu’s head chef Gianni Delogu to design the menu. And he says the crepes are a wonderful highlight of the Garçon Bleu French Bottomless Brunch, some of the best you’ll get outside Bordeaux, in fact.

“Chefs are on hand to speak with each guest about their selection before making each crepe a-la minute for them. Our authentic crepe hotplates have been purposefully selected to allow our kitchen to prepare this French delicacy in the traditional way,” Katsman says.
“It is certainly something our guests love to watch and experience before returning to their table to enjoy their perfect crepe.”
Garçon Bleu will present like a film still taken from the set of Midnight In Paris for the bespoke Buffet de Brunch.
After being welcomed to their table in the elegant light-filled restaurant on the 9th floor of Sofitel Adelaide, guests will be invited to place an order at the Cocktail and Sparkling Bar.

The kitchen team will also be stationed around the bottomless brunch buffet, to talk about the provenance of the ingredients used, and celebrate South Australian producers.
That distinctly French accent will extend to the charcuterie and fromages, the savoury sliders, farmhouse frittatas, croque monsieurs and chipolatas.
As the brunch continues against a soundtrack of French jazz, choose from the decadent desserts table arrayed with everything from macarons and muffins to croque monsieurs and crepes, profiteroles and pickles.
You can also toast to the sense of occasion over bottomless bloody marys or bellinis, mimosas and French Champagne.
Hotel manager Scott Eger says the Garcon Bleu offering is truly unique and inspired by French tradition – from its interactive live crepe station and bountiful buffet, to the free-flowing French Champagne and cocktails to the magnificent interiors and styling. C’est magnifique!
