If you ever needed more proof that canned drinks are in, an American winery is searching the internet for the world’s first ‘canbassador‘ to help promote their new range of canned wine.
The Oregon-based Union Wine Co. is looking for an avid wine lover to join them in their quest on the summer festival trail as they road trip from their home base to the East Coast.
Besides a love for wine, the successful applicant must “adventurous, outgoing and adaptable,” according to the job advert. As the company’s official canbassador promoting the wineries Underwood Wine range, the job would see the applicant on the road for anywhere between one-to-four months at a time driving a custom vintage 1972 Citroen mobile wine bar.
It’s not all fun and games though as the listing stresses. The canbassador must also be comfortable with living on the road, “sleeping in alternative spots, strange hours [and] with minimal amenities.” But then again when you have an endless supply of wine, who cares, right?

Australian’s have always known though that some of our best drinks come in cans, or rather tinnies. Perhaps it won’t be so long before we have our own canbassadors.
