To celebrate the absolute firestorm that has been the Matildas’ incredible performance during the FIFA Women’s World Cup, hospitality oligarch Merivale will be offering half price when the Tillies take on England in the semi-finals. 

From 6-8pm on Wednesday, August 16, drinks will be 49 percent off across pubs and participating bars, up to the value of $300 (so no Grand Cru Champagne but a round of brewskies is totally fine). 

There are a few venues that aren’t participating including Coogee Rooftop, Charlie Parkers, Hemmesphere, J&M, Little Felix, Palmer & Co, ivy Pool Club, and Wills. But with literal dozens of other Merivale venues to choose from, you’ll have a hard time going thirsty in the warm up to seeing Australia’s favourite women (presumably) thrash the Lionesses.
