Champagne and racing—few things pair better. Now, Moët & Chandon is back, bringing the fizz to Formula 1’s biggest celebrations.

For nearly three centuries, the Champagne house has been at the heart of momentous occasions, and its motorsport legacy is no exception. The tradition of Champagne showers on the podium dates back to 1967, when Formula 1 winner Dan Gurney famously sprayed a bottle of Moët in triumph. But the brand’s ties to motorsport go back even further—to 1936, when Tazio Nuvolari toasted his Vanderbilt Cup victory with a Jeroboam of Moët & Chandon.

Now, as Formula 1 marks its milestone 75th anniversary, Moët & Chandon is back in pole position as the sport’s Official Champagne, rekindling its long-standing partnership through a decade-long alliance under the LVMH banner. This isn’t just a return—it’s a statement. The Champagne house is also stepping up as the Title Partner for the Formula 1 Moët & Chandon Belgian Grand Prix 2025, an event particularly close to its heart as the race closest to the Champagne region.

For both brands, the collaboration is a natural fit. Sibylle Scherer, CEO and President of Moët & Chandon, shares: “We are honoured and excited to return as the Official Champagne of Formula 1. This partnership is a tribute to the unity and shared achievements of inspiring drivers, their devoted teams, and the global community that rallies behind them.”

Stefano Domenicali, President & CEO of Formula 1, adds: “The tradition of toasting on the podium is one of the most iconic moments in our sport, and we are thrilled to welcome once again Moët & Chandon as the Official Champagne of Formula 1. This partnership celebrates the history, emotion and excellence that bind Formula 1 and Moët & Chandon, in a perfect union of performance and refinement, in a truly special year that sees us celebrate our 75th anniversary. The return of Moët & Chandon to the podium further strengthens the bond of our innovative partnership with LVMH, and we cannot wait to toast this extraordinary collaboration together.”

In Melbourne, the Australian Grand Prix is already in full swing, and Moët & Chandon’s presence is unmistakable. The Champagne house hosted an exclusive private dinner in Toorak, led by Sibylle Scherer, to mark the occasion. Guests enjoyed a five-course menu by chef Joel Bickford, paired with standout pours, including Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2016, Grand Vintage Rosé 2016, and Grand Vintage 2013. Adding to the spectacle, the brand’s giant cork-shaped hot air balloon, ‘The Spirit of 1743’, made a grand entrance over Melbourne before touching down at Albert Park.

While the race results remain to be seen, one thing is certain: the Champagne will be flowing. Belvedere Vodka has also joined the Formula 1 inner circle as its first-ever Official Vodka. The brand’s launch event kicked off with a Belvedere 10 soirée at Maison Bâtard, followed by an exclusive after-party at Le Club, where caviar bumps and Belvedere 10 ‘drops’ set the tone for a high-energy night, soundtracked by DJ Sasha Fern.

Meanwhile, for those looking to keep the celebrations going long after the checkered flag, Belvedere’s House of 10 will stage the official after-party of the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025 at Ms Collins—a night of high-impact performances, VIP guests, and a fittingly luxurious finale to race weekend.

At Albert Park, fans can savour Belvedere cocktails in the exclusive Formula 1 Paddock Club and The Lounge, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the high-speed thrills. Whether celebrating trackside or at one of the exclusive parties, this season is shifting into high gear. Start your engines, pop the corks—this year, Formula 1 is raising the bar.
