Whoever said that drinking and going green couldn’t go hand in hand? P&V Merchants is out to prove that the world of wine can be an eco-friendly one with the launch of its new array of natural wines on tap, and accompanying reusable wine tubes.

The Newtown wine boutique now offers fans a rotating selection of natural vinos blended especially and poured from kegs. In keeping with their focus on sustainability, the booze den will be serving up its keg-based creation in a newly produced range of resealable returnable bottles. Customers are encouraged to use the 750mL bottles to purchase wine or beer off the two taps in store, and take home to reuse however you wish.

“[It’s] the latest sensation from the mystical folks at P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants,” explains the shop of its creation. “A magical, recyclable, returnable, reusable vessel for the rotating tap wines and spirits that P&V squeeze from unicorns and mix with fairy dust. Fill it up in store, return it to us and we will fill it up again.”

It costs $25 for your first bottle, then $20 every time thereafter that you use the same bottle for another wine run. The first keg wines available at P&V are an orange wine blended by Cotier from Mornington Peninsula and a skin-sy, textural white from Mac Forbes from Victoria.
