Two icons of wine and design combine for a limited-release collection.

There’s an undeniable artistic alchemy to wine making, so it makes sense to extend this artistry – from what goes in the bottle, to the bottle itself.

That philosophy reveals itself in De Bortoli’s new limited-release botrytis semillon, with the icon of the Australian wine industry looking to an icon of Australian design for inspiration.

The result? Two highly stylish bottles featuring versions of among the most recognised of the late Australian designer Florence Broadhurst’s wallpaper patterns, her dramatic Japanese Floral stylised lotus.

The monochromatic labels are designed to catch the eye of trend-setting wine buyers, while the contents – a varietal of the winemaker’s benchmark Noble One botrytis semillon from its Bilbul Estate in the Riverina of NSW – celebrate Broadhurst’s creativity, timeless style and ability to redefine herself.

Designed to be enjoyed at any occasion, this version of De Bortoli’s multi-award-winning wine is described as lighter and more sessionable than its parent, while striking a balance of fresh citrus character and refreshing acidity, with flavours of spicy apricot and peach.

Furthering the link to the world of fashion and design, an even more exclusive 100-bottle Signature Release design has been released worldwide for collectors to hunt down.

De Bortoli Botrytis Semillon by Florence Broadhurst is available at leading liquor stores around the country with an RRP of $20.
