Short of not drinking, it's the best thing we have
So science has told us that pear juice can ward off a hangover – but only if you drink it in advance. Mmm. So what about all those impromptu drinking sessions you’re not planning on? Are we meant to be drinking pear juice 24/7, science?
No, we’re not. If you’ve already imbibed a little too much (and nobody’s judging round these parts), the trick is to drink pineapple juice to get rid of your hangover. Our online editor, who drinks A LOT, swears by it. Pineapples contain an enzyme called bromelain, which eases digestion and can reduce pressure on the liver. (Your poor, poor long-suffering liver). It’s also good for replacing electrolytes and hydrating you – plus it tastes better than pear juice. #justsayin
