Non-Alcoholic

Teetotal favourite Seedlip has another booze-free business en route

Æcorn Aperitifs

And it's set to arrive this April.

If you were ever tempted to jump aboard the teetotal bandwagon (even if temporarily), there might be no better time than the present. Not only is it officially Febfast, but alcohol-free drinking options have never been quite so ample, or so chic for that matter.

Leading these alcohol-free options is the booze-free spirit range from Seedlip. The creation of Ben Branson, the trio of distilled drops are intended to be mixed with tonics and sodas, just like you would with a traditional spiritSeedlip has already proven a worldwide success – the drink is currently stocked in some of the globe’s best bars and department stores.

“As a global business, we have grown from me in my kitchen to 60 employees worldwide, with offices in London and LA, cocktails featured in over 30 of the world’s 50 best cocktail bars, listings in more than 250 Michelin-starred restaurants and we are now proudly stocked in over 6000 accounts globally. The demand has been overwhelming, the timing ideal and the hard work so far absolutely worth it as we demonstrate a new category and approach to thinking about what we drink,” Branson says of his invention.

But Branson’s journey into expansion has only just begun, with the innovator confirming that he will shortly launch a second non-alcoholic venture, Æcorn Aperitifs. “We’re just getting started, just scratching the surface,” he explains of the booze-free sector. “We will be releasing our next new brand Æcorn Aperitifs in London in April to further expand the category and options which is very exciting!”

Little is yet known of Æcorn Aperitifs, the self-proclaimed world’s first range of alcohol-free aperitifs What we can confirm is that the array of non-alcoholic drinks have been inspired in part by the herbal remedies favoured in 17th Century England, and the European tradition of aperitif. Three pre-mixed drinks are set to launch as a part of the range, crafted from a concoction of English grown grapes, herbs, roots and bitter botanicals.

With April confirmed as the brand’s launch, the reveal of more information is imminent.
