What would Jimmy Buffett do?
You know what would take your next backyard sess’ from good to great? A 3-litre keg of zesty, boozy margaritas.
Melbourne-based drinks label Curatif has unleashed the ultimate party pal, describing it as “more than just a drink – it’s an experience.” Appropriately named The Entertainer, the pre-mixed marg’ is a blend of tequila Tromba Blanco, fresh lime, and agave nectar and is shelf-stable for up to 18 months. As if anyone is going to take 18 months to drink it. But sure, ok.
With its specially designed pump-and-serve dispenser, The Entertainer is as practical as it is classy. Simply chill, pump, serve, party.
Containing 35.5 standard drinks, Curatif’s bold new decision, er, drink, is perfect for sharing (yes, you should share it) and is as convenient as it is insane.
Speaking of delightfully insane, you can buy The Entertainer as a one-time purchase for $199 or you can save money and sign up for a margarita keg subscription. The host with the most can opt for delivery every two, four, or eight weeks. This is why we shouldn’t have adult money.
It’s always five o’clock on the Curatif website.

How to make a margarita
Ingredients
- Lime wedge, to rub, and extra slices, to serve
- Sea salt flakes, to dip
- Ice cubes, to serve, and to shake
- 45ml mezcal or tequila
- 1 1/2 tbs (30ml) fresh lime juice
- Dash of agave syrup
- 15ml triple sec or Cointreau
- 1 slice fresh jalapeno if you like it spicy
Method
- Rub the lime wedge around the rim of your chosen glass and dip rim into salt flakes (you could also add some chilli powder to the salt to add heat, if you like). Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- If you’re going spicy, place a slice of jalapeno in a cocktail shaker and mash to release the heat. Add some ice and the remaining ingredients and shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the ingredients.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over the ice cubes. Serve garnished with extra lime.
- Cue Jimmy Buffett.
