It draws its flavour from hand-picked, hand-peeled Spanish lemons, with nothing artificial added.

When it comes to gin and tonic, there’s nothing more refreshing than a simple squeeze of citrus. Whether you’re an orange, lemon or lime fan, there’s no denying the tangy zest a splash of fruity flesh brings.

But what if you didn’t make it to the markets for fresh lemons this week? Worry no more! The latest release from the genius folks over at Bombay Sapphire harnesses the power of ripe Mediterranean citrus, grown in a special region where mountain and sea combine to create “the best tasting fruit”.

Ivano Tonutti, Master of Botanicals, works closely with the brand’s Murcian lemon suppliers to ensure each small batch of the new Premier Cru London Dry Gin uses only the highest quality ingredients.

“Each lemon has been hand-picked at its ripest moment in small quantities during the late harvest season, using skillful techniques passed down from generation to generation.”

The premium gin contains no artificial flavours or essences and draws its taste from the distillation process and botanicals, with a touch of mandarin and sweet orange for an extra zesty kick. This simple citrus profile makes it the perfect foundation for a gin and tonic or classic martini – or go all out and treat yourself to an elevated French 75.

Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru Murcian Lemon is available to purchase from Dan Murphy’s and selected Vintage Cellars, First choice and independent liquor stores for $79.
