It’s a dessert and a digestif in one.

When it comes to Christmas Day desserts, Aussies are blessed with a plethora of options. Whether you’re a trifle, pav or pudding fan, there’s a fairly good chance your family’s festive lunch runs the gamut.

But what if you’re too full for dessert this year? Or perhaps (quelle horreur!) you’re not a dessert person at all?

Fear not my treat-averse friend, for the brains at Never Never Distillery have squeezed a traditional Christmas dessert into a very pretty bottle, for a limited time only!

The new Never Never Panettone Negroni Bottled Cocktail aims to recreate the smell of Nonna’s kitchen on Christmas Day. This festive red beverage tastes like a spice-laden buttered fruit toast, and incorporates Never Never’s Triple Juniper Gin, Campari and Regal Rogue Vermouth, blended with muscat, orange curaçao and a hint of vanilla bean. You’ll want to enjoy this one straight from the freezer, garnished with a juicy orange wedge.

If panettone isn’t your bag, Never Never fear, there’s also an Oyster Shell Gimlet Bottled Cocktail to whet your whistle.

The refreshing drop has been inspired by lemonade icy poles on a hot summer’s day, incorporating Never Never’s Oyster Shell Gin, house-made split lime leaf syrup and Barossa Apera. Its fresh and zesty citrus kick pairs perfectly with a seafood lunch. Pour yours into a chic coupe glass for a traditional gimlet, or add soda for a refreshing highball.

Convenience is bliss.

Never Never’s Panettone Negroni and Oyster Shell Gimlet bottled cocktails are available from neverneverdistilling.com.au for $70 each, or $130 for the pair.
