The US President's now defunct drink has become a collector's item.
While many are familiar with Donald Trump’s more successful pursuits; US Presidency, a TV show, and real estate among others, few are aware of his liquor foray. Back in 2005 Trump Vodka was launched (despite Trump being a teetotaller), a spirit with the slogan ‘success distilled’.
Being Trump’s product it certainly looked impressive; the bottle was designed by Milton Glaser who were behind the I ♥ NY logo. Trump Vodka resembled a skyscraper, with two sides transparent, two gold (of course), and each adorned with the T-shaped logo for which Trump is known.

The company ultimately collapsed in 2011, leaving a trail of unpaid bills in its wake. But while Trump Vodka once failed to even make the shelves, let alone spirit cabinets, today the drop has become somewhat of a collector’s item.
Originally Trump Vodka was sold for $US30 per bottle, but on Ebay the drop has quite literally gain a second wind reports Munchies. Empty bottles of Trump Vodka can now be purchased for $US25 to $100, while those sealed can net as much as $US1,000.
As for who’s buying it, Munchies have revealed that rather surprisingly it’s not devout Trump supporters who are buying up the spirit by the caseload. Instead it is a steady stream of fans from Israel where the kosher drink remains popular, and a growing group who admitted they simply want a bottle of Trump Vodka as a gag.
