Now you never have to choose between wine and gin again.
In the same vein as the famed Bloody Shiraz Gin comes a Prosecco Gin by Aussie winery Tempus Two. Staying true to the iconic aromas and flavours of the varietal, the sparkling-inspired sipper is light and floral, with hints of green fruit, enhanced by the infusion of rosebuds, juniper and recycled citrus.
In addition to their gin-ius prosecco invention, Tempus Two has also created a Shiraz Gin and a Wild Botanical Gin, so you can collect the whole set. The new gins are made using the leftover wine spirit from Tempus Two’s low-alcohol range.
Chief Winemaker Andrew Duff says: “The idea for our Tempus Two Gin range came from a desire to creatively harness the unique wine spirit that was extracted during the process used to make our low alcohol Lighten Up wines. We saw an opportunity to develop the varietal properties of the alcohol that was spun off and repurpose it into a range of high-quality gins.
“Using a combination of traditional and non-traditional extraction and distillation methods, we’ve created a product that both reduces our environmental impact and harnesses delicious wine qualities in a premium gin.”
