You can now finally get your hands on the world's best rum

Bundaberg Rum

A second installment arrives after the first batch sold out.

It made waves around the country when news broke that Queensland’s own Bundaberg Rum was named the world’s best.

The drink had just taken out the top gong for a second year at the 2017 World Drinks Awards in London, as well as at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. This was for the Master Distiller’s Collection Solera, and the Master Distillers’ Collection Small Batch.

The original batch of the Master Distiller’s Collection Solera sold out within a matter of days when it first hit shelves. And this was before the drink even won the accolade. Now, the much-anticipated second batch of the rum will be available to purchase from July 17. For those not willing to fight their way to the nearest bottle-o, there is a pre-sale registration available on the Bundaberg website.

Senior Brand Manager at Bundaberg Rum Duncan Littler says the second batch has been a long time coming. “We’re incredibly proud of Master Distillers’ Collection Solera and the international recognition it has received. Ever since the first release sold out last year, the Distillery has received a host of enquiries from rum lovers and drinks enthusiasts wanting to get hold of a bottle.  This renowned and beautifully complex rum has become an iconic member of the Bundaberg Rum range,” he comments.
