Bollinger has released a 007-inspired Champagne just in time for the new James Bond film

Because you only live twice.

Sorry martini, but we think you’ll find it’s actually a glass of bubbles that Mr Bond prefers. The gentleman spy has sipped on Bollinger – the Official Champagne of 007 – in almost every Bond film ever made.

And to celebrate the launch of the latest installment, Champagne Bollinger has released a limited edition Special Cuvée for your No Time To Die watching party.

Champagne Bollinger worked with the celebrated photographer Greg Williams to create the Champagne’s artwork which features the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin DB5. The colourway of the gift box echoes the silver birch finish of the DB5. The Bollinger lettering and logos are depicted in gold, and the iconic Special Cuvée bottle has been adapted to feature a black and gold neck collar with a 007 blazon.

Or if you’re really looking to impress the ladies, Champagne Bollinger has also recently released its 2013 vintage, B13.

The new vintage reflects the unique weather conditions of the year, which included a long winter punctuated by snow and frost, a wet and hesitant spring, then a very hot summer with violent thunderstorms.

The ethical and sustainable farming practices employed at Champagne Bollinger, which include minimal agricultural inputs, controlled yields and precise management of the grape’s maturity, meant the Champagne house was largely unaffected by the turbulent conditions and was still able to bottle up a phenomenal wine.

The vintage Blanc de Noirs Champagne is described as a precise wine, characterised by freshness. The profile includes fruity aromas such as citrus and yellow fruits, with flavours of tarte tatin and fresh almond.

Charles-Armand de Belenet, Managing Director of Champagne Bollinger, comments, “From vine to wine, Champagne Bollinger cultivates talent and strives for excellence by bringing together tradition and innovation. Putting terroir first, the purity of the wines, the perpetual quest for authentic taste, and a devotion to environmental values: these are the beliefs that Bollinger continuously stands by. Today, B13 illustrates this.”

Bollinger Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition is priced at $90 and Champagne Bollinger B13 is priced at $250 from selected bottle stores nationwide.
