Moët & Chandon has unveiled its latest collaboration, as the iconic Champagne house joins forces with recording artist Pharrell Williams to launch a limited-edition Champagne that’s all about birthdays.
Raising a toast with a glass of bubbly is a must for any birthday gathering, and bringing a bottle of Moët to the party is always a great way to make the occasion special. But the Moët maison and Williams wanted to bring even more sparkle to the celebration, teaming up to design a lavish and distinctive collection, all tailor-made for a birthday.
“The best part about a birthday is the people who want to celebrate it with you,” Williams says. “When I was old enough to toast with Champagne for the first time, Moët & Chandon was my point of reference. I suppose it’s just a tradition; it’s the ritual.”

The Moët team and Williams delved into the house archives and found that today’s iconic tie design on the bottle was once a bow, all the way back in 1889. They saw the bow as a symbol of togetherness, generosity, joy and surprise – all key elements of a great birthday. And this was the catalyst for the Moët & Chandon Pharrell Williams Limited Edition Collection – a Champagne that celebrates not just your birthday, but the people you share it with. Available in Brut Impérial Gold, Midnight Blue and Deep Red, Williams has signed both the bottle and box with white-dotted lettering, similar to pearls, which represent the effervescence of Champagne. He has also transformed the bottle’s red royal seal into a pearled monogram of his initials. The Bow Creations
Available in both Brut Impérial (Midnight Blue) and Grand Vintage Collection 2003 (Black), these 1.5L magnums come adorned with a detachable oversized fabric bow adorned with pearled beads, crafted by Parisian embroiderers Atelier Baqué Molinié. The Grand Vintage Collection 2003 was specially selected by Moët & Chandon cellar master Benoît Gouez to pay homage to the memories of Williams’ 30th birthday celebration. The Jewel Masterpiece
For those that want to make the boldest birthday statement of all, this stunning 3L jeroboam has been handcrafted in France, with only 30 numbered pieces available. The mirrored chrome bottle has been hand-painted with pearl relief lettering by artist Astrid de Chaillé, while the detachable oversized bejewelled bow is adorned with 7,310 pearled beads, requiring 300 hours of handiwork by Atelier Baqué Molinié.
