American Express delicious. Month Out (AEDMO) is dishing up another sweet surprise. Following on from its epic collaboration with master chocolatier Amaury Guichon, Amex is now teaming up with cult Melbourne favourite Bistro Morgan for a one-day-only event that dessert lovers will not want to miss.

Renowned patissier Morgan Hipworth is putting his own luxurious twist on a beloved Italian classic with his pistachio tiramisu. This exclusive creation layers bold espresso-soaked ladyfingers with velvety mascarpone cream and the rich, nutty essence of pistachios. And it’s available this Saturday, May 24, for just $8. But you’d better be quick, as it’s only available for one short, sweet day.

“Tiramisu is an Australian staple that I, like many Aussies, grew up with,” Hipworth says. “It’s a hard dessert to perfect, so when the opportunity arose to create a dessert for American Express delicious. Month Out, tiramisu came straight to mind.

“Pistachio, on the other hand, is having its time in the spotlight right now. The flavour of pistachio is so decadent, so it was a no-brainer to mix these two flavours to create my own spin on a pistachio tiramisu. It has layers of espresso-soaked sponge fingers and a mascarpone pistachio cream, which is to die for. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did creating it!”

Starting at 10am, the first 100 American Express Card Members to visit will receive Hipworth’s creation free of charge (T&Cs apply). And when customers purchase the dessert, they’ll have the chance to score hidden prizes, including:

• A double pass to The Centurion Lounge at Melbourne International Airport. 
• A double pass to see Teddy Swims live at Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, October 22, including entry to the American Express Entertainment Lounge for the ultimate pre-show experience. 
• A $200 dining gift voucher to Maven by Morgan, Hipworth’s Fitzroy restaurant and bar. 

The Bistro Morgan Bakehouse Takeover will be held on Saturday, May 24, from 10am-4pm at Bistro Morgan Bakehouse, 400 Brunswick St, Fitzroy.
