They're in for a treat.

Turns out, we’re not the only ones who love a good grazing board. Pet owners across the country are jumping on a new trend for “barkuterie” boards, stocked with a colourful array of drool-worthy dog treats.

The canine crudité is typically made from a spread of sweet and savoury snacks, from dog biscuits to Greenies, carrot sticks, apple slices, cheese sticks, hard-boiled eggs, salmon and sardines, with optional peanut butter or yoghurt dipping bowls.

A barkuterie board can also be a great way to celebrate your dog’s birthday, gotcha day or bark mitzvah, or simply as a reward for being the bestest boy ever.

Best of all, you can tailor them to your pup’s favourite foods, keeping in mind any food intolerances or sensitivities.
