Just roll with it.
After igniting a fever-dream panic of Sydneysiders queueing for hours at Cinnabon’s Darling Square store in early 2023, Cinnabon is going from strength to strength, announcing a rapid-fire expansion across Sydney. With locations in Hornsby, Rouse Hill, Darling Square, The Galeries and Parramatta, NSW joins other Australian states in a cinnamon-scented frenzy.
The latest venue to be announced is in Westfield Miranda in Sydney’s south.
Queensland now has 10 locations and counting, while Victoria and WA each boast one store respectively.
The Seattle-based bakery chain launched in Queensland in 2020, before rolling out to Victoria, New South Wales and most recently Western Australia in October 2024.

As with the Darling Square menu, which consists of three items – the Cinnabon ($8), Caramel Pecanbon ($8.50) and Chocobun ($8.50), which come in a regular size as well as the Minibon version ($6.50), the Parramatta store will have an expanded menu to include Cinnachips as well as limited-run beverage offerings.
As Sydney’s ‘other’ CBD, Parramatta and surrounds has become a litmus test of sorts for US food chains, with Taco Bell, Five Guys, Outback Steakhouse, and soon, Wendy’s, finding footholds to varying success. If the Cinna-mania we witnessed in January is anything to go on, we’re confident the new outlets will be a roaring success.
