Be our guest at this Beauty and the Beast-inspired dinner in Sydney

Beauty and the Beast Kimpton Margot

Don't believe us? Ask the dishes!

Embark on a whimsical culinary journey at Luke’s Kitchen, where a tale as old as time will come to life from June 22 to January 28.

To celebrate Kimpton Margot’s partnership for the Sydney season of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at Capitol Theatre in June, embark on a mystical three-course Beauty and the Beast-inspired pre-theatre dinner and cocktail menu.

At Luke’s Kitchen, the hotel’s enchanting restaurant by Luke Mangan, the journey begins with your choice of starter. Choose from the ‘Soup Du Jour’; a double baked cheese souffle with gruyere and cheddar; or ‘Plumette Cups Barbecue’ (inspired by the weirdly hot feather duster) for entree.

To follow are equally magical mains of ‘Fish A La Belle’ (turmeric and semolina crusted barramundi with saffron aioli and hazelnut dressing) ‘Bimbettes Gnocchi’ (with seasonal vegetables and hazelnut dressing) or ‘Beef Cheek Ragout.’ Dessert of ‘The Grey Stuff’ (profiterole, coconut ice cream and dulce de leche) or ‘Strawberries in Champagne’ to come before, hopefully, a room full of talking furniture sings you off to sleep as you digest.

The fun doesn’t end at Luke’s Table though. The Wilmot Bar is getting into the spirit too and the cocktails are anything but provincial. Beauty and the Beast-themed cocktails of ‘La Belle Enfant’ (aviation gin, cherry brandy liqueur, yuzu citrus juice, egg whites and Taittinger Champagne), ‘The Chimera’ (brandy, Frangelico, mozart white chocolate, fresh cream and Kahlua) and ‘The Versailles Dream’ (Ciroc Vodka, camomile tea, Luke Mangan’s secret syrup, butterfly pea powder and soda water) are all on the cards.

Be part of a tale where gastronomy, artistry, and enchantment intertwine to leave you, ahem, spellbound. Reservations are available Tuesday-Saturday from 5pm. Book here.
