The picturesque Adelaide Hills will welcome a beautiful relaunch of Bird In Hand’s LVN restaurant at Woodside in 2024.
Under the guidance of executive chef Jacob Davey (Restaurant Botanic) the menu aims to capture the essence and flavours of the land the winery relies on to grow its grapes; country that has been nurtured and respected for tens of thousands of years by the Peramangk, Paredareme and Ngarringdjeri peoples.

A farm-to-table experience of seven to ten dishes will range from mouthful snacks to substantial mains using produce from the onsite kitchen garden at Woodside, the Finniss River on the lower lakes of South Australia, and rare seasonal goods from Seymour in Tasmania.
While the full menu is yet to be revealed, produce set to appear includes mutton bird and wallaby native to northern Tasmania, pipis and coastal fruits from Adelaide, and she-oak and kangaroo from Adelaide Hills.
Museum collections of Bird in Hand wines will be available, as well as experimental and new releases from the vineyard.

LVN is the latest jazzed up addition to the Bird in Hand family, like the newly refurbished cellar door, a private tasting room, and landscaped gardens with a collection of sculptures and art installations.
Reservations for LVN are now open, with sittings commencing every Saturday and Sunday from 14 January 2024.
