Well played, Warnie.
Australians will be bowled over to learn that sportsman Shane Warne has just released two premium gins to sip on while you watch the cricket.
Called SevenZeroEight, the collection is named after the record-breaking 708 test wickets that Shane took in his career.
The SevenZeroEight gin reveals subtle hints of lemon myrtle and thyme with a smooth, clean finish. It’s also available in a lite version, called 23, which has an ABV of 23% compared to the usual 40%. The number 23 is also significant as it refers to Shane Warne’s shirt number in limited-overs cricket.
If you’re worried about Warnie’s distilling credentials, the SevenZeroEight gin has already gone on to win a gold medal in the 2019 Australian Gin Awards.
SevenZeroEight is priced at $84.99 for a 700ml bottle while SevenZeroEight 23 is priced at $69.99. For more details or to buy, head to 708gin.com.au.
