So you can look after your gut while you punish your liver.

The makers behind Dirty Bucha have opened a taproom and bar in Byron where you can sip boozy booch with your hipster mates.

Taking over the former Stone & Wood Brewery, The Bucha Shed pours out three alcoholic kombuchas, alongside seasonal and experimental brews.

The core range includes a tropical kombucha made with vodka, a lemon myrtle kombucha made with gin, and a beer and kombucha blend.

“We’re excited about giving people the opportunity to see what our Bucha and Dirty Bucha is all about,” says co-founder Paul Tansley “We want people to touch, taste, and take part in the brewing process, have some fun and enjoy a few tasting paddles.”

The Bucha Shed is located at 4 Boronia Place, Byron Bay. It opens for booked tours and tastings of up to 12 people on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as on request. If you can’t make it to the Bucha Shed, you can find Dirty Buchas at selected liquor stores nationally.
