Move over Arbory Float, a new pontoon bar with a botanically-inspired line-up of food and drinks will drop anchor in Melbourne this March.

Positioned on the Yarra River, the new two-level venue will offer laidback resort vibes, where you can take in a boozy brunch beneath beach umbrellas, or head to the upper deck for a sundowner and live music session.

The floating oasis will be brimming with lush greenery, from climbing vines to lush gardens, brimming with native plants, herbs, and botanicals. Need a garnish, anyone?

Naturally, gin will be a focus on the drinks list, which will also include cocktails, wines, beers, ciders and premium spirits, with 100% of bevvies sourced from home state.

The food menu will be made up of easy-to-eat share plates, snacks and wood-fired pizzas, with a focus on local, sustainable and native ingredients.

Entry into Yarra Botanicals will be free, and the venue will open 7 days a week from 10am until late.

Yarra Botanicals is slated to open in early March 2022.
