It's like a flaky French pastry, only frozen.
So, you’ve heard of Heston Blumenthal’s bacon and egg ice cream, well Gelato Messina has gone one better with their newest flavour, croissant gelato.
The new addition to the ice cream cabinet is made from actual croissants, which are baked in-house using Pepe Saya’s cultured butter, then blended with gelato to create a rich, buttery taste. It’s available in a cup or cone, but if you bring your own croissant, you can also make an epic ice cream sandwich.
The new flavour, called Pepe Nose Best, is available from all Messina stores until Tuesday, October 29, or until sold out.
