And heading north.
Melbourne is a city famous for laneways, for coffee, and for Huxtaburger – for the burger aficionados in Australia anyway. The beloved burger chain now numbers six across the city, but has decided that it is time to expand north of the border. It’s rumoured that the meaty franchise will be setting up shop next in Brisbane.
CEO Matt Fickling recently hinted that the move will happen within the next year, with the company attracted to the burger-appropriate outdoors lifestyle up north. The first Queensland outlet will reflect its new home in everything from design to menu, with the brand’s focus on blending in with the local community.
Those who live in Sydney need not despair however, with Huxtaburger visiting the city shortly as a part of the Visit Victoria promotion Twist at Every Turn.
