The buzz first started swirling thanks to a sneaky leak from food influencer @Nectoriouspapi. “We are getting a chicken McMuffin and a chicken and bacon McMuffin. I don’t know what they look like. I don’t know what the dates are yet but stay tuned,” he teased his followers. Well, the wait is over, and McDonald’s has officially spilled the beans.

Inspired by the success of these flavours in New Zealand, McDonald’s is now bringing this delicious duo to Australia. “Our friends over the ditch loved it, and we’re pumped for our Aussie customers to give it a go!” a McDonald’s spokesperson told news.com.au.

But that’s not all. Remember the BLT McMuffin? It’s making a grand comeback. Starting March 6, you can grab a BLT McMuffin with a small McCafe hot coffee for just $5.95. Or, if you’re feeling particularly peckish, dive into the Big Breakfast Deal, featuring two McMuffins, two hash browns, and a medium McCafe hot coffee for $12.95, available until April 6.

McDonald’s Australia’s marketing manager, Tobi Fukushima said in a statement, “Our new breakfast deals are all about offering our great tasting, high-quality menu items with even greater value. We know our customers adore Macca’s breakfast, and these deals are our way of saying, ‘enjoy the tastes you love at a price that’s too good to pass up.'”
