Blend it like Beckham.

Entrepreneur and socialite Brooklyn Beckham has turned his hand to hospitality. Despite admitting he’s never taken a single cooking class, he’s opening a pop-up restaurant in London this week.

In partnership with Uber Eats, the two-night dining experience will be available exclusively via delivery in select pockets of London.

‘Self-taught’ son of Victoria and David Beckham, the, uh, chef has famously made a career out of career-hopping, initially playing for the youth team of Arsenal FC before a brief stint as a fashion model.

In 2017, Brooklyn decided to give photography a crack and enrolled at Parsons School of Design in New York, one of the most prestigious and competitive art schools in the world. But he quit after less than a year, as he felt homesick, also revealing that elephants are hard to photograph in his book What I See (Random House).

“So hard to photograph but incredible to see.”

The pop-up restaurant itself will feature a very chic, short menu consisting of just five items, including a 12-hour slow-cooked bolognese and Brooklyn’s ‘Nanny Peggy English Breakfast Sandwich’, which comprises bacon, sausage, eggs and tomato sauce on white bread.

Brooklyn kicked off his cooking career during the 2021 lockdowns, during which he took to the internet to show off his skills in a Facebook series called ‘Cookin’ with Brooklyn’. The king of the side quest created a very romantic heart-shaped pizza for his then fiancé, Nicola Peltz; cut a big hole in a $1,500 wheel of parmesan cheese; and blow-torched an already toasted cheese sandwich.

The 24-year-old is proving that if you put your mind to it and have super-famous parents, you can achieve almost anything.

Available exclusively via the Uber Eats app, dishes from the restaurant start at $19, and you can order between 5-10pm on January 25 and 26, only on Uber Eats.
