We're over the moon.
It’s the pastry emporium that’s worth its very own return flight to Melbourne each morning and now Sydney will finally be getting a taste.
Following days of speculation, Lune Croissanterie founder Kate Reid has confirmed that they are currently scouting out sites in Sydney, with a Sydney outpost definitely on the cards. However, with nothing locked in just yet, all that’s left to do is wait and stress-eat pastries in anticipation.
If it’s anything like the two existing croissanteries in Melbourne, the new outpost will churn out their famous butter croissants alongside a changing selection of flavours, which could include a choc cherry black forest croissant or a jam and cream-filled lamington cruffin.
One thing you can count on will be the impressive queues out the door, with no one ever sorry they waited.
