Move over McFlurry, your favourite childhood treat has just been given a creamy chocolate update.

The new choccy soft serve cone is now available across select McDonald’s stores in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia in addition to the OG vanilla variety.

Some of the first customers to try it on TikTok described it as tasting like frozen chocolate custard, and it sounds like a winner to us.

The new menu item is just on trial for now. McDonald’s Australia said it was looking forward to receiving feedback from customers which will form part of its decision to roll the chocolate soft serve out nationwide. We’ll be doing our part with a choccy cone in the park today.
