As if the McFlurry couldn’t get any better (you know you love it) the team at Maccas has gone and made the perfect winter dessert, a raspberry and custard pie McFlurry. For purists, the pie is also available sans soft serve but honestly, why would you?

The winter special is available on June 28 for one week only via the Menulog app and is made up of soft serve ice cream topped with crisp pastry pieces filled with a creamy custard and raspberry filling. The whole thing is then topped with a drizzle of tangy raspberry sauce. If you’re not into your food direct to your door, don’t fret: the wintery McFlurry will land instore on July 5. Patience is a virtue, we suppose.

Not content to rest on those sweet laurels, a special winter menu will be returning to McDonald’s across the nation including a Spicy Sticky BBQ Angus burger of beef patty, Aussie Jack cheese, rasher bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, spicy sticky BBQ sauce and McChicken sauce – served on a gourmet bun.

There will also be that hallowed bar snack of fried mozzarella sticks served with tomato chilli jam. While on paper half a dozen fried cheese stringers may seem insane, anyone who has bitten into that crisp breaded gooey cheese knows – it just works.

The whole winter range will launch on July 5 for a limited time only.
