Now that's out of the way, you can focus on what you actually want to drink.

Do you always check the prices on a wine list before you check the varietal, year, and region?

Stokehouse Bar & Eatery is taking the cost factor out of the equation with its newly relaunched wine list, which includes 85 bottles priced at $79 each.

No longer do you need to worry about impressing or offending your date, spending too much or too little, instead, you can refocus your attention on exactly what you feel like drinking.

The fixed price list was created by sommelier Wil Martin to help remove any intimidation and to encourage diners to explore the list and try something new.

His wine list includes a variety of vinos from the classic to the new-age, with drops sourced from both here and abroad. Each bottle has been chosen to complement the pasta-driven menu.

For those who can’t get the price out of their minds, you’ve probably worked out that there’s no way they can all be the exact same value. This is correct – some wines are worth more than $79 and others less. But please, stop thinking about it and just enjoy your pinot.
