Embracing the enduring appeal to boozy desserts is Melbourne favourite Piccolina Gelateria, who has just launched an adults-only collection of gelato.

In celebration of the start of Autumn (a particularly hot one down south), Piccolina has joined forces with Burnley Brewing to create a trio of alcoholic gelato flavours. The limited edition flavours include Saison with salted peanuts, Dry Stout and chocolate brownie, and Empire Apple Cider sorbet.

But those who enjoy a boozy dessert best get in quick as the limited edition flavours will be available for one week only from Thursday March 22. The range will be available as an individual scoop or as a part of a special tasting flight at Piccolina’s flagship store on Smith Street in Collingwood. Piccolina will also be hosting a pop-up at Burnley Brewing on March 23 and 24.
