Japanese-American chef Chase Kojima, of Sokyo, will soon open a more casual concept at The Star called Gojima. Its signature will be the rice burger – a meat patty encased in rice cakes. “We’re taking them to the next level,” Kojima says. The burger is gluten-free but perhaps not guilt-free if you wash it down with a thickshake.

Model, mum and MasterChef fave Sarah Todd returns to our television screens for new food show My Restaurant In India. The six-part series follows the chef as she ambitiously opens a 400-seat beach club and restaurant called Antares in trendy Goa. The series begins on Thursday, 9pm, SBS.
