The Balfour Kitchen, located at Spicers Balfour Hotel in the Brisbane suburb of New Farm, have launched their new Vietnamese-inspired menu this month. Executive Chef Dan Jarrett (pictured) is the driving force behind the new offering, saying, “The Balfour Kitchen offers a Vietnamese twist with a hint of French, and I’m confident it will be a hit with locals and visitors.” Expect to see the likes of Vietnamese beef tartare, fermented tofu, coffee brulee and fried cacao truffles with chilli chocolate gracing the new menu.

East Village Sydney, Darlinghurst, has transformed their rooftop terrace into the second annual Winter Garden inspired by the winter night markets of Europe. Styled with thousands of fairy lights, lambswool throws and a fire place to keep patrons cozy on crisp winter nights. A special Winter Garden food and drinks menu has also been created and will alternate each month throughout the season. On clear nights patrons will also have the option to toast marshmallows and chestnuts on a chiminea.
